I’m Quadir Russell—a former engineer turned entrepreneur and business analyst. Currently, I hold leadership roles in multiple ventures while working full time as a Senior Analyst at Northwell Health, New York’s largest not-for-profit health system. My professional journey combines analytical expertise with practical, real-world business ownership.
🚀 My Ventures & Roles
Coyle’s Homemade Ice Cream
As co‑owner of this beloved Long Island staple, I oversee marketing, operations, and expansion initiatives. Since acquiring Coyle’s, we’ve launched a new commissary, opened a third location, and doubled down on branding efforts—aiming to bring our handcrafted ice cream to communities across Long Island.
Bagel Cafe of Stony Brook
Located near Stony Brook University and the Lake Grove Mall, this turn-around business caught my eye for its solid foundation and underserved market. I’m focused on optimizing its operations—introducing student-friendly hours, late-night weekend service, and new menu offerings like smoothies and salad bowls to turn it into a campus staple.
FRQNCY Performance
I’m a minority owner in this new high-intensity training studio concept rooted in community and performance. FRQNCY delivers group-based HIIT programs that prioritize results, connection, and personalized coaching. The mission is to build a high-performance fitness culture where people show up, sweat, and grow together.
Stone Soupe
My first acquisition where I’m not involved in day-to-day management. Stone Soupe is a gourmet deli and catering operation serving the Stony Brook medical park. We’ve expanded catering offerings, added third-party delivery, extended evening hours, and introduced premium coffee items to match our clientele of medical staff and researchers.
💼 Northwell Health
At Northwell Health I serve as a Senior Analyst in the Enterprise Data & Information Intelligence team. I help translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights for population health and business transformation initiatives LinkedIn. My engineering background in data science and automation informs how I approach both internal system improvements and outside entrepreneurial decisions.
🌱 Why I Do This
All my businesses share a common thread: identifying strong legacy or growth potential, applying systems thinking, and investing in areas where impact is underestimated. Whether it’s ice cream, catering, fitness, or real estate, I look for assets with loyal followings and tangible room to grow. I don’t chase trends. I build longevity.
⚡ Outside Work
When I'm not working (doesn't happen often), I stay active competing in events like Hyrox, hiking national parks (Grand Teton is a favorite), and staying fit at FRQNCY.
